Europe Goes Purple
Welcome to the #EuropeGoesPurple Campaign website!
The campaign will kick off on Intersex Awareness Day (26 October) and continue until Intersex Day of Solidarity (8 November), and even beyond.
The campaign will raise awareness, promote and build public and institutional commitment around the Council of Europe Recommendation on Equal Rights for Intersex Persons – the first international legal instrument of its kind, which will be officially launched on 27 October.

We invite all to join in lighting up landmarks, buildings, parliaments, ministries, universities, public and private spaces in purple on 8 November (or between 26 October and 8 November).
